Why Not?
“Why Not” - WelTec informally opened their end of year exhibition for digital media at 97-99 Courtenay Place on Friday 7th November and has partnered with Art Klick, yMedia and Made From New Zealand to create a design house/ cafe / gallery / think tank until the end of Febuary 2009. The intentention is to create a viable design house that developers outsource design work to, give the interns experience and create fresh design ideas. If the business proves viable it will then be handed over to Art Klick and potentially scaled to accomodate 10 - 15 designers and partner with yMedia and Summer of Design to help place more designers in industry.
